1.    DATES:  14-19 August, 2008
2.    HOST:    Chinese Taipei Youth Hostel Association (Taiwan YHA)
3.    ACCOMMODATION:     Youth Hostels in Taipei and Hualien
4.    PARTICIPANTS:    We wish to invite 4 participants from each IYHF Member Association in the  

      Asia-Pacific Region, including 3 young people (aged under 30 years) whose work lies in the area of

     "youth travel promotion" in an NGO or university, and 1 senior staff from your Association as

     leader of your delegation.
5.    VISAS:  All participants must comply with the Visa Regulations of Taiwan (Republic of China) that are relevant to each participant's citizenship and nationality. Citizens of some countries will be eligible for "Visa Exempt Entry". Please refer to the BOCA website for further details : (http://www.boca.gov.tw)  and to your country's nearest TECO (Taipei Economic Cultural Office) if you have further Visa-related questions.
6.    EXPENSES & FEES:    All expenses for accommodation, meals and transportation during the Youth Rally will be covered by our Association.
7.    LANGUAGE:    English will be the working language.
8.    WEATHER:    Summer in Taiwan is hot and sticky with very high humidity, and rainfall, so please bring appropriate clothing, including some waterproof raincoats or jackets, etc.
9.    INSURANCE: Please make sure that you have adequate travel insurance before leaving your home country. Remember that travel insurance costs just a few dollars, but it could save you thousands if things go wrong.
10.    PERSONAL TIMETABLE:
-    By 31 May:     Each Member Association sends Taiwan YHA its initial response.
-    By 30 June:     Confirmation received of Participants Names & Flight schedule.
-    By 10 July:    Check that VISA requirements have been met by each delegate.
