The Scottish Youth Hostel Association are proud to present the new, super-stylish, hostel opening 5th September 2006.

Edinburgh Central

Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel website

  Scottish Youth Hostel

Enjoy a modern, comfortable and affordable stay at our new Edinburgh Central hostel.

With it's city centre location in the heart of Scotland’s capital, retail therapy in the famous Princes Street and Harvey Nichols are a stones throw away. Entertainment, bars, restaurants and café bars are all within easy reach or why not enjoy a relaxing drink back at the hostel.

Visit the majestic Royal Yacht Britannia and the vibrant Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre in the recently rejuvenated shore area of Leith, take a walk round the Georgian elegance of the New Town and the historic “Old Town” not forgetting, of course Edinburgh Castle!

All rooms are en-suite, spacious and furnished to the highest standard. Full dining, bistro and self catering facilities are available giving you plenty of choice to suit your budget.

This comfortable and stylish new hostel is well equipped to suit the needs of single travellers to larger groups upon request. We are family friendly too – when the kids have had enough of the shops have some family fun! Visit Edinburgh’s various museums, the infamous Edinburgh Dungeon, Edinburgh Zoo or take an open top bus tour around the city (available in 7 languages!), and loads more!

A fabulous destination alive with culture, history, shopping and dining 365 days a year.
