In order to stay at a Youth Hostel, you must be a member of your national Youth Hostel Association, in this case is Malaysian Youth Hostels Association (MYHA).  If there is no national YHA in your country, you can purchase a Hostelling International Card or a Welcome Stamp.

Membership is open to people all ages and offers:

  1. 4,000 accomodation centres in almost 80 countries.
  2. Activities , programmes, events and the opportunity to contribute to World Peace.
  3. Thousands of discounts worldwide.
  4. Reservations up to 6 months ahead (You can do reservation with MYHA national office).
  5. Low-cost Hi-eKit phonecard and HI Travel Insurance.

Hostelling International's Assured Standards Scheme means you can rely on a consistent level of services and facalities wherever you stay.

  • Welcome- hostels are open to all. You will have access to essential facilities if the hostel closes for a period during the day.
