I have interesting news for all of you. This year Malaysian Youth Hostels Association will make an aggresive move to enhance our YHA card in future. We are expecting more new members to sign up under our association to benefits more exiciting discount nationwide. We are getting discounts from hotels, famous outlets and more interesting discount just for our members so stay tune and invite more people in our yahoogroup by just click the menu invite at the left side of this site.
Another interesting updates is our upcoming programmes. I would like to let you know that annually we will get invitation from all over the world to join their programs. The following is the annual programs:
1. Kullumanali National Himalaya Tracking Program in India. Date: Around May every year.
2. Korea Youth Festival Rally in South Korea. Date: Around July every year.
Beside that, MYHA also will organize future international program such as:
1. Australia Educational Visit at Perth, Australia. Suggested date: Around early November 2006.
2. Thailand Youth Exchange Visit. Suggested date: Around January - Febuary (limited to 15 pax)
We will also do a community programs for those who enjoys voluntary work as follow: 1. "Save our rivers". Environmental Program Affiliated program with Forest Department
2. "A day with the orphanage". Community project.
Furthermore if you intend to travel overseas staying in hostels, you can make booking from us 6 month in advance. All you need to do is to pay 10% booking fee and the balance when you arrive at the hostel.
