19th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM 2008

Youth Challenges in the ASEM Context

15-22 July 2008, Seoul, Republic of Korea

We are pleased to inform you about our upcomming event, the 19th International Youth Forum 2008: Youth Challenges in the ASEM Context, which will take place from the 15th to the 22nd of July, in Seoul and Goesan, Republic of Korea

The project is co-organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea, the Korean Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs and the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), in cooperation with the European Youth Forum (YJF)

Background information on the event and the criteria for the participation have been enclosed for your perusal. Contact from youth organizations, national youth councils and other relevant agencies from each ASEM country shall be invited to nominate suitable candidates for the Forum

Members who are intrested to participate in this programme will have to pay an administration fee of RM 100.00 for member, will receive a MYHA Short Sleeve Shirt and non-members RM 110.00 will receive 1 year membership card + MYHA Short Sleeve Shirt.

MAJLIS PELANCARAN HARI DAN MINGGU BELIA NEGARA 2008

Kepada ahli yang terhormat,  bahawa Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM) akan menganjurkan SAMBUTAN HARI DAN MINGGU BELIA NEGARA 2008 bertemakan BELIA CEMERLANG NEGARA TERBILANG bermula dari  10-18 Mei 2008. Sempena  HMBN 2008, pelbagai acara dan activiti telah disusun bagi mememriakan  sambutan kali ini.

Dengan perlancaran HMBN 2008 Malaysian Youth Hostels Association akan mempromosi kad ahli MYHA, buku panduan YHA, fail YHA dan baju lengan pendek MYHA. Kami juga akan memberi hadiah sagu hati kepada semua yang memohon kad keahlian di MYHA.

2008 Asia-Pacific Youth Rally

14-19 August, Taiwan

Exploring Ihla Formosa, Taiwan

Chinese Taipei Youth Hostels Association (Taiwan YHA) will be hosting "2008 Asia-Pacific Youth Rally" in Taiwan, commencing on 14th August 2008 and concluding on 19th August 2008. Taiwan YHA is inviting 4 participants from each IYHF Member Association in the Asia Pacific Region, including 3 young people (aged under 30 years) whose work lies in the area of youth travel promotion "in an NGO or university and 1 YHA senior staff as the leader of the group.

 All accommodation and festival expenses of the perticipants during their stay in Taiwan between 14th-19th August 2008, will be covered by Taiwan YHA. However participants airfares to and from Taiwan, as well as their personal expenses are not included in this project
