4. Participants: We wish to invite 5 to 7 participants from each National Association in the World, including 1senior staff from your Association as leader of your delegation.

15. Program○ Opening Ceremony
- This is a formal ceremony to announce the opening of the event. It has the special meaning of opening the youths rally.
○ Cultural Performances by Country / Ice Breaking (Making Friends with Group Members)
- Understanding each country’s culture through their prepared performances
- In groups, introductions and various games will be used to from bonds among the hostellers.
○ Hostelling
- A part of the Youth Hostel Movement, hostelling is a program that tours the surrounding area to experience the importance of the natural environment.
○ “My Earth, I Love You!”
- This time is to learn about the foundation of the purpose of the Youth Hostel Movement is to awaken the world to the seriousness of environmental contamination as well as methods to protect the environment.
- There is a fun lecture given by an expert that researches the topic, as well as experience, discussion and presentation.
○ Green Growth Education / Making Environmentally Friendly Goods
- Precise understanding through Green Growth Education
- A time to make souvenirs that are useful in everyday life out of environmentally friendly materials that have no negative effects on the environment.
(Natural Soap, Environmentally Friendly Batteries, Naturally Dyes Handkerchiefs, etc.)
○ Creative Group Presentations
- With the theme of, ‘A clean Earth towards peace,’ groups will create a short advertisement, skit, or song. After discussion within the group, each group will present their finished piece.
○ Enjoying UCC
- The friends assisting the management of the event, our “Helper” friends, have produces some UCC (Universal Copyright Convetion), which we will view.
○ Brainstorming “Green Growth”
- Connecting with the contents of “My Earth, I Love You,” groups are allowed to discuss possible solutions to environmental problems as well as have discussions in groups about, “Green Growth” and possible suggestions for society.
○ Traditional Korean Culture Experience
- Experiencing how to make traditional Korean pottery
○ Campaign to Save the Environment and Recreation
- Program to inform the common citizen information learned through education and discussion
- Tour of the famous Korean tour destination, Cheong Gye Cheon, as well as visiting and experiencing the “Green Growth” of Seoul.
- Enjoying the famously beautiful Korean mountain, Mt. Sorak, and the East Sea
○ Visit an Environmentally Friendly Business
- Field trip to the Yang Ti Mok Jang (Sheep Ranch) in Dae Gwan Ryung maintained by the Samyang Corporation to experience wind generated energy
○ Candlelight Ceremony
- A ceremony distinct to Hostellers, the Candlelight Ceremony is a time provided for all participants to join together and pledge world peace.○ Closing Ceremony
- This is a time to declare the closing of the event, sign an environmental oath and present it
